4th of July
Steamboat Springs celebrates Independence Day each year with a parade and dance party! A series of events often lead up to the big day: stop by the town early and you can enjoy Farmers Market, art celebrations, rodeo contests and more special activities in town.Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo
June – August
This Summer Pro Rodeo series showcases events from Steer Wrestling to Bull Riding. Taking Place at the Romick Aarena every Friday & Saturday evening starting at 7:30p.m, with a special 4th of July show starting at 6:30pm. Watch for fireworks after the 4th of July show. View more Pro Rodeo details.

Balloon Rodeo & Art in the Park
2nd Weekend in July
Our “balloon rodeo” at Bald Eagle Lake is a bit less rowdy than the normal thing, but it’s just as beautiful to see. Arrive early to see them off, and then stay for contests and competitions, such as dips into the lake. Then head over to see over a hundred vendors and other live entertainment at Art in the Park.
Strings Music Festival
June – August
The Strings Music Pavilion is Steamboat’s premier live music venue. Enjoy a summer full of live music events showcasing all types of music genres including: orchestra, chamber, soloists, world, blues, jazz and rock. Summer Gondola Rides
Through September

Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day weekend in Steamboat Springs this year will feature a collection of aircraft activities at the Wild West Air Fest, including flights on a Douglas C-47 Skytrain and other planes. You can also attend the Rocky Mountain Bull Bash rodeo, Farmers Market and four-stage cyclist race.

Christmas & New Year’s Eve
We don’t know what the town’s official plans will be yet, but Steamboat is always a great place to spend the holidays: our ski resort was made for winter, but the town itself also has several restaurants and other features to keep you satisfied during your stay. We hope to see you for the holidays soon!
